Lindy Ruff on the Zucker-McLeod-Greenway line:

"We've got a couple guys that are really good defenders with good speed, like Greenway, obviously McLeod. Zuck is a good skater too and has speed. I really feel that the offensive part will fall into place. I've like the way they've played."

Jordan Greenway has really impressed Ruff.

Showing effort on every play. Backchecking in situations where a veteran may let up because it's a preseason or exhibition game that doesn't matter.

Idk, moving out Skinner indicates Ruff is going to demand 200’ commitment and effort from all lines. He’s focusing on praising the defensive effort of these guys as he tries to instill it in all lines. Maybe, (idk if preseason games have shown any indication of it) Ruff is going to have them play a more aggressive style

It takes full commitment to the game plan from all forwards (Skinner out). Sabres have guys who can put the puck in the net, they may feast on turnovers the forechecking will create.
