I think lindy has lost his step and seemed to be the way Devils played last year especially when Hughes and nico and Hamilton were out

Was worried that even though Devils were outplaying buffalo it was 1 1 going into the 3rd where 1 bounce could be the difference but it's like the sabres were playing to defend a lead and had nothing going

The Sabres organization fired Lindy for a reason, so they forget all of that and hire him back. WTF They will NEVER make the playoffs under Lindy's leadership. This is inexcusable. I suppose they do not want to sell any tickets to the home games. Fire Ruff and get a seasoned, Stanley Cup winning coach that can whip the Sissy Boy Sabres back into shape. This is criminal what they are doing. Hiring has been coaches that were already fired by the team. Retaining loser assistant coaches that couldn't even make the NHL. Criminal!!!!

Top line had 25 shot attempts and only 6 on net. Ouch. Didn't play bad, just didn't result in anything.

Cozens, Quinn, Kulich was around a 6% xGF%. Absolutely murdered.

Honestly, the Devils look like they could be the best team in the East (if they can avoid injuries). They look like a faster more skilled version of the Panthers.

The Sabres are only incrementally better than they were last year, and likely will be competitive with the bottom half of the league and against any flawed top half teams but will look horrid against the top teams that are skilled, fast and play a hard forechecking game.

Biggest concern of this team is it's ceiling is probably making the playoffs. If they are able to make the playoffs, then I can't see this team making any kind of deep run in the playoffs.

There only decent players have injuries...season is over before it even started. Had too much fun sight seeing instead of practicing. Same old pathetic effort. Horrible hockey continues for yet another year. The team is to used to having long summer vacations and it looks like the trend will continue. I wish I got paid that much money not score a goals or lose hockey games. This was the year to make a difference and again, no sense of urgency. Nothing has changed. Sell the freaking team.
