It's going to be awesome watching Torts mold him into a smaller slightly faster Poehling

Good for Jett. I have been supportive of the exposure to the NHL. Whether it is 9 games or the season. It is a good debate about developing more in OHL or on the 3rd line. I can see both.

Or putting a kid who is known primarily for is offense with a Center who for most of his career played solid D and a winger that even though makes offensive zone mistakes hustles back to make up for them.

Then maybe once MM shows he can play some sort of D at the NHL level can be moved to be on a line with Frost.

Coots had a pretty darn good season with Giroux on his wing. I liked the way Michkov looked with TK too. I'm all for this line. I don't really want Michkov anywhere near Tort's whipping boy. I think Frost can be a good player, but probably not with this coach breathing down his neck.

How did I buy into the hype. I liked Hunter because he played for Northeastern and I got to watch him for two years, when he wasn't hurt. He showed promise as a college player and was a leader on the team. I think he has a chance for sure, 50/50 sounds about right based on what I saw this camp. Has to learn to play faster for sure. I was more bought in on Bonk, but honestly I didn't like the camp he had either.

Yup, the way he talked about him in the BTS "The Standard" videos w/ Danny too... it's all about the kid's conditioning... which is a weird reason to want to keep him around.
