why was he put on waivers twice by EDM..? wtf lol
- Pat1993

Edmonton waived him to send him to the AHL.

Vegas picks him up, but they try to send him to the AHL the next day.

Edmonton claims their guy back up, (frank) you Vegas you can't do that. They do what they wanted to do in the first place and send him to the AHL.

Vegas claims him back, "well (frank) you too Oilers".

I don't even understand how this is allowed. (frank)ing guy is stuck between both teams forever?

don't recall that sort of thing happening in such a short time span, it's probably an NHL record...

somebody said, RDS comment so dont hold your breath, the first time around there was other claims so that mean they needed to keep him in the nhl or he goes back to waiver if sent to the AHL, this time they appear to be the only suitor so no waiver for him to go in the AHL ?

If I understand correctly, Vegas has to either keep him in the NHL or waive him with the risk of the Oilers claiming him back and THEN they can send him to the AHL without going through waivers.

What a ride.

Seeing some of these posts are making me chuckle. Already talking about dumping Primeau after one game and praising Monty like he's the second coming. Relax is all i gotta say.

I don't think either of these guys are the future once Fowler and Dobes eventually come up. Not to mention this team isn't expected to be in the playoffs again this year. On a different note, haven't been overly impressed so far with that top line. Partly because of lack of play time I'm sure but also a slow start out the gates for Suzuki & Slaf. CC is what he is, small dude that can score in bunches but easily separated from the puck. In the end, its two games....

You know who was on the ice for all the goals?

Primer!

- WaterBoy

🤣🤣🤣

I do agree. If they want the paint to stay in the mix, they need to be finished with the primer.

I did not find he had a good season last year that's all. But as a famous hb poster often say to you: agree to disagree.
