Power on the 1st pp with dahlin
Tuch demoted to the 2nd pp - Boss34
Power has been on PP1 for a little bit now.
It makes no sense. He can’t shoot or isn’t a great shooter. Try Kulich on that side. |

Who cares about shooting, they cant even establish themselves in the offensive zone. Gotta start there.

That back pass in the neutral zone killls their speed. Time to change that.

Dump it and use your speed and go get the puck - Buff36
Have you actually watched the Sabres?
We dump it in and NEVER win the puck battle. It’s been like that for years
The opposing team usually has a very easy break out pass.
“Dump and chase” is also an outdated method to playing hockey fyi

Think the Watson trade goes down as the worst trade in league history?
Browns return for Watson and a 6th:
2022 first-round pick (OG Kenyon Green)
2022 fourth-round pick (RB Dameon Pierce)
2023 first-round pick (DE Will Anderson Jr.)
2023 third-round pick (WR Tank Dell)
2024 first-round pick (CB Kamari Lassiter and LB Jamal Hill)
2024 fourth-round pick (S Calen Bullock) - QuinnFan
Here's what I love most about the Watson trade:
The Cleveland head office and owner decided that they were willing to suffer the blowback of knowingly trading for a serial sexual predator, because as long as he played well, it would be worth it.
Sam Elliott's voice: "In fact, he didn't play well, and the Cleveland Browns found out in a very, very hard way that it was not worth it." |

That’s what Ruff seems to want to change.
You also think Grit is a thing of the past and is unnecessary for a team to have any success. Dump and chase is not an outdated method, just maybe a little out of fashion. (watch that change as teams start mimicking the current Champs’ style.)
It is still greatly effective when done properly and consistently. The hardest part may be finding skilled players who are willing to play that way.

He's a decent shooter and creates opportunities. PP isn't just about 1-timers.

Lindy didn't say who would come out if Peterka goes back in. Still undecided. No lines at skate. Many guys not out there.

LOVE that style of play.
Greenway and Tuch seem to have received the message as they have upped their hitting, as has Cozens. However, several others aren't complying Benson, Tage, Quinn, McLeod, JJP need to start bringing it to make it a TEAM thing... Not just a few.

I like power on the pp. a rookie is not the answer imo
Power is starting to really look good offensively, just everyone was snakebiten until the last game.
I still think power puts up as many points as dahlin this season. Maybe next year if not this year . |

Are they not number 1 in hits per game still? Those guys mentioned arent laying body but are still hard to play against. Benson and McLeod are relentless, Quinn has a hit per game. Tage and JJ I don't mind staying away from it.
edit. they are second in hits per game now. |

Power looked like their best D-man against Florida. He plays a simple game so well.

I don't know who their best net front guy is. Not something they really have on the team atm.
I don't have any feelings about him yet. |

There about 7or 8 guys bringing it. That's it.
2 friggin hits per game from all the F's.. what is so damn hard about it. Puts the opponent on edge and playing a bit more scared. Tage especially should have 3 per minimum not 0.5.
Buy in, everyone's doing it! |

Tage is built like a wet paper bag. Hes doesn't need to be throwing 3 hits a game.
The highest hitting team, Bruins, dont have Pasta and Marchand throwing 3 a game. Marchand 1per. Pasta .5.
2 hits a game from every forward would put us way in first per game. Its just not realistic. |
