Wasn't trying to argue with you yesterday about Novikov, just want to get some of these kids some experience and maybe see something. Really turning into a disappointing 5 years of drafting. IMO

I'm just fascinated that he's the guy. Feels like he's 12th on their depth chart atm and maybe plays himself into the picture a year from now, unless crazy things happen.
If you want D change, Johnson is that guy. If you want to vent on their drafting, Rosen is the guy, or wondering where Ostlund fits.

I don't have a problem with them thinking he needs another year. My issue is Joker + Clifton fit poorly in this group and Byram is redundant. Group just isn't put together well and another finesse, puck money LD is a tough fit.

Watching the game it looks like they need somebody like Michael Peca … the guy that just was relentless and refused to lose…
Somebody like Brendan Gallagher, who just won’t quit no matter what…
