When healthy last season, he produced five-on-five offense at a healthy rate and had 19 points in 27 games. Now he has 1 point in five games and is minus-four.

We haven’t seen much speed or playmaking from him, and he’s been careless with the puck. Maybe sitting will snap Quinn out of his early-season slump. The Sabres better hope so, because they banked a lot of their offseason on his improvement.

I'm with you, have been advocating for a PoHO for several years now... More specifically Mike Gillis.

This is not the player's fault necessarily.
This is not Lindy's fault.
This is not even Kevin Adams fault although it may very well seem that it is .

This falls on the shoulder of an owner. An owner who is incompetent, who doesn't work with businessman and smart hockey operations to run, such as we had with Pat LaFontain many many years ago now.

He bought it because it was a toy, a child hood dream .
Nothing will change until he either sells or gets a hockey ops through which he has no decision.
