You think players will start to waive cause of a new GM?
- DirtyDan

Plenty of players have no clauses, so no choice. Go get a few of them.

Sure, give him $8m a year until he's 38. That will go perfectly with the Dahlin and Cozens deals. I like Tuch but what are we doing here? This is another failed core.
- Hank Balling

Hate to add insult to injury, but the prospects aren't high impact either. We have a lot of meh on the way up. This isn't getting better any time soon unless we can fleece several teams in succession.

Two more losses and it's"blow it up" time. I'm ready. What's a few more years of suffering?

Tuch should be captain, not traded.

You guys (who watch the game on a small computer screen) don’t have a clue

- Boss34

way too many lazy penalties to be captain

zero chance they remove it from dahlin anyhow, unless they trade him before the nmc kicks in next summer

Trades would be nice. It’s painfully obvious no coach can fix this. It’s time to blow it up, while we still can. If we wait another year, 1/2 of these contracts will be untradeable

I’d rather blow it up knowing there’s a chance of building it right vs watch this core lose for the next 7 years

Can't sell low like that again. Most of these guys wouldn't garner the returns to make it worth it. Sadly, I think we need to grin and bear it for another year. Over the summer, you sell the farm and hope it's enough. At least, that's what I'd do. We'll probably sign JoJo Siwa and get new handrails for the arena, but a boy can dream, right? RIGHT?!!!

What GM doesn’t know this, which organization is desperate enough to attempt to make a deal with indecisive top5 GMKA?

You just posted that you’re done watching

Probably less to talk about

This team is playing exciting open hockey, for the past 3 games .

Im guessing it takes more than 5 games to learn a new defensive system?

- Boss34

Not even the end of October and I might be done watching Full Games! That's what I said. And you keep licking that Lollipop because there D system looks exactly the Same. CHAOTIC

I dk, other teams also know that our players win other teams Cups...so we have that going for us in negotiations.

Our 30pt forward will put up 60pts for you, ergo...

Benson has to go as well. Sorry for anyone who likes him but if you are that small you need to be elite to compete in NHL. Hes is not elite.

IF we fire our GM, and actually make the moves we should have last summer, I can get on board with a grin and bear it plan. I have little faith that will happen

Sabres lose yet again...they rehired their loser coach that they fired. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Pegula is an absolute idiot and will always be remember as one.
- FireRuff

Coach has nothing to do with the issues. It’s the players.

The only constant the last 3 years is essentially the same roster with the same results with 2 different coaches.

The players are the problem.

No.
The key is to trade for guys without protection.
It certainly reduces the size of the player pool.

Define making moves

Tuch. Cozens. Tage. Quinn and etc.

The big guns on this roster are the issue.

You need to dump them off but can’t due to contracts.

Tuch and samuelsson are the only ones where it seems reasonable

Wonder if the Rangers would do a Trouba for Clifton deal

One or two core players moved
Target one or two top 6 players
Target one real defensemen
Hire real assistant coaches that actually know how to coach

I lost faith after the Beck Malenstyn trade. Kind of knew we were going to be bad, so I guess it's not hitting me as hard.

Good news, this draft is amazing and even a blind squirrel will eventually find a nut. We can grin and bear it or turn it off until they're better, but it'll happen one day.

I mean they're both lousy hockey players and Trouba is getting the bigger bucks, so I'd assume they'd do that.

Cozens top priority to move.
Then Samuellson, Quinn
We can figure out how to make it work after that.
We have the worst second line in the NHL.
Get a real 1c and move Tage to the wing
Get a real 2c
Get Dahlin a real partner
