Are you saying that if the don't call it offsides then no team should challenge the call? They do get on ice calls wrong, problem is video review will not change those calls unless there is definitive visual proof. Same as when the puck is under the goalie, if they call it a goal it will stand but if they say no goal it will also stand because if no video sources show the actual puck then they stay with the on ice call rather than change it based on what is apparently true from video review.

I dk, just never felt he was a good leader. Gets caught out too much and don't like to see the Captain of the team taking cheap shots. With that contract, I'd shy away personally, but understand why you want to make a change and get a more defensive defenseman.

No, he is an elite complimentary player. The Sabres need an elite player with leadership skills.

The Sabres also need 6 better top 6 forwards, 4 better bottom 6 players, 6 better defensemen, and 2 better goalies.

They also need to fire the entire coaching staff, and front office and hang the owner from the peace bridge for the world to see that this culture has been unacceptable and times are a changing.
