Watching the Bulldogs play Ottawa. Lardis is looking very good. Not only fast but quick and really good edges. And what a great shot. First difference from last season is he’s more involved physically and defensively. Last year he was playing more of a perimeter game. The three games I’ve seen this season he’s rolled up his sleeves and has his nose over the puck in all zones.

I'm hoping Soda has a good night.

This game is a tough match up for Kaiser. You can see it in his first two shifts, he twice failed to win a physical battle and it ended up with the goalie having to make a stop.

I just feel like he needs confidence, improved rebound control and some goal support. He doesn't typically get much offensive help.

To his credit, Kurashev is getting time as the 6th forward on the PK, out there with Turbo.

All the Hawks do is chase the puck around the ice with no offensive pressure at all. Same old same old story.

Yeah, too many giveaways trying to move the puck up the ice and too many time they dump it in and can't win the battles to get the puck.

Overall I thought our D is playing well tonight so far. Brodie has looked better tonight to me than game 1 of the year.

TBH, that was a good road period against a quality team. I know that KD wants the kids to grow and develop together at the Rock, and I get it, but I selfishly would like to see another young one or two in the lineup. I guess I’ll have to wait for the inevitable injuries to some of the old farts.

Lardis with another goal, two goals and an assist tonight but his best play tonight was him backchecking an Ottawa player who had at least a twenty foot lead and Lardis caught up to him and stripped the puck away. Looks like he will have a big season for Brantford this year. And the best thing is how he’s improving his overall game from last season.

I agree but that is because of their terrible passing and no value in trying to establish possession and just flipping it out of the zone

Almost everything from the jets so far along the ice, trying to jam and stuff pucks.

I'm going to wait til the end of the game but i find something very interesting.
