The addition of Tanev and OEL has pushed players into their appropriate roles. That's the the gift that keeps on giving, so far. Benoit, much better as an excellent bottom pairing guy; McCabe, much better playing with a veteran, if even on his off-side. Rielly, much better playing with a rock solid top pairing guy.

I need something to calm me down. I'm liking too many things about this particular Leaf team. McMann becoming an even better physical presence. Knies growing into a beast. Lorentz added character and effort to the 4th line. OEL being the puck transporter they've been looking for.

I watch our guys get crosschecked with no call in front of the net more often than not. So do you.

I see it called - of course - but it's another backpocket penalty - one the ref pulls out of their backpocket when they want to control momentum. I mean it SHOULD be a penalty more than the stupid stick touched the hand penalty, but it is not called as often as you're implying.
