They do the same thing the past 2 years when they go into long losing streaks. Force, force and force….that’s bad coaching.

It’s only 5 games in the season and my mind is made up…

Get good draft position, hope for a lottery ball, and make smart selections with the 6 picks in 2 rounds.

Then ditch Torts as quick as possible.

Agreed. This was all about the lack of center depth. They forced him up.

No excuses for getting shutout in your home opener.
At no point were the flyers threatening yo get back in the game. A ton of missed shots and quite a few shot right into the goalies chest.
Hopefully one game closer to Torts being gone.

No backup goalie and Torts going full mad scientist with the lineup and line combos- top 5 looking like a possibility.

He’s not even an NHL coach anymore, his ego has gotten way too big. He’s just a sideshow now

The fact they came out looking like trash from the start of the game and absolutely nothing changed to the end indicates it’s not a line chemistry problem…it’s coaching and how he wants them to play.

I’m getting tired of 4th liners getting rewarded for doing nothing.
