Aho is good, but I would probably still balk at that. Dahlin would go crazy in CAR and Aho would not have anywhere near the same supporting cast. I'd need to know I'm getting 80pt Aho, not 60pt Aho.

And you may be right, value wise, I just don't see it as a step forward is all. You're robbing peter to pay paul, but given EP's slump, you may be doing a lot more robbing than paying there, that's my reticence.

Out of curiosity, if the player to move wasn't Dahlin, we'll say they start dangling picks and prospects galore, who's a lesser target you'd hope to get? Or even position, is it a center we need?

It's extremely early and not as bad as it seems. Certainly don't want to dig too deep of hole though, so they need to start finding some more points soon.

each year the prospects are dropping in value, which makes me think right now, we will not be a special team with the current group of players, leadership, front office, and prospect pool
