Maybe switch Cozens and Mcleod for a game or at least a few shifts. Maybe 2 grinders in zucker and greenway help cozens learn to play hockey again.

When you start with Tage + Cozens + Mitts, trade for Krebs, and draft 6 1st round F's in the last 4 years (and most play C), the last thing you should need to do is overpay for a 3C. Somehow they ended up there and it was time to change plans.

This is fair, but would like to point out it’s been 7 games, and 2 being the overseas games, it’s mildly whatever. If the same issues in game 15 are here, yeah a bigger issue imo. Adams has been the GM for 3 major trades and is in his 5th season. So far, if I’m being honest his results have been mixed. I didn’t hate the Savoie trade, but the Beck trade is a straight dumpster. Idc if you trade a second, how about an actual impact player. Happens all the time, except for when Buf tries it apparently

For the sake of prospective, is trading a 2nd round pick for Beck worst than using the 14OA pick on Zemgus Girgensons? I assume we all hope Konsta Helenius is not Girgrensons 2.0, but what do we think the typical 2nd round pick turns into (especially with this org making the selection, because JJ Peterka is not typical). How does Beck stack up against some of the more recent Sabres high 2nd round picks?
