Think Mcdermutt has a hand in it. At half time said they need to win the line of scrimmage. To me that sounded like he wanted to run to start the game. So many 1st down runs in the 1st half all out of shotgun.

I agree with you. Think he loves to run the ball and game manage. One false start, run for a loss, or botched WR screen and the whole strat breaks down. Sometimes, it feels like he wants to minimize Allen, which is insane

The answer to that on offense isn't to try and minimize your offensive possessions or your QB when it is someone like Allen.

I still think he cares too much what his defense looks like in terms of performance over almost anything else.

Not sure if good enough will ever get done when great is on the other sideline, unless Allen goes full alien again like he has in the past in the playoffs.

Jesus, don't you guys as Sabres FANS feel like Chuck Brown with Lucy pulling the football away? It's much less frustrating to just stop watching the Sabres and to check in periodically to see that NOTHING has changed, versus just watching Hockey as a whole, to watch other teams and become a well rounded fan of the game. NOBODY should be untouchable to move, but NO NHL player wants to become a Buffalo Sabre.

Hopefully Brady opens up his play book once Coop gets acclimated. He only played 18 snaps so Hopefully good things to come. Shakir could become pretty good weapon once that happens.
