Agreed. St Ivany hasn't been great. I'd still play him over Shea though.

Honestly they should have put Puustinen on waivers in hopes to put him in WBS. Puustinen doesn't really have a spot on this team.

Puus in the lineup over Bunting is borderline comical. I don't think Puus is better than anyone that can be used and therefore shouldn't right now haha. However, there will be injuries...

Pending where the injuries are I wouldn't choose him as an option. I was a big fan of his for years and continue to go to most WBS Pen games. This year we seem to have more talent and I feel he really doesn't bring anything to this team that some of the other players do.

Exactly. Hopefully they aren't afraid of putting him on waivers. I mean, they have to know there's better in the A, as well....don't they? haha

I'd probably rather have Puust in than Beauvillier tbh.

Feels pretty clear to me they just scratched Bunting for a game to send a message to him, and maybe the whole team. (They didn't play like they got that message though). Nothing to do with thinking Puustinen is better.

RW is pretty jammed up right now. Somehow our leading points wing, Pulj, is on the fourth line. Puustinen apparently only plays RW which is pretty bad for a 13th forward to give no flexibility. But guess he can't replace Beau. Well, at least he looked better on the third line.

Curious who is standing out to you so far in WBS. They've certainly been filling the net.

I like that they started McG on the 3rd line. Should have to earn your minutes no matter where you're playing. Hopefully he's being a pro about it....

I hate that for WBS, should feed your top prospects minutes. But they got some guy named Boris Katchouk with 4 goals in 3 games and Koivunen at LW too.

I don't think Beau has been awful, but he doesn't belong on the top line. He's better than Puustinen IMO. I'm not worried about these depth players at all. I'd be swapping them in and out. If you're producing, you keep playing.

The Pens biggest problem is keeping the puck out of their own net. They look much worse than last year. Slower backchecks. D getting caught flat-footed. Top 4 D has been comical at times, and even Petts has been bad. Doesn't matter who's in goal when you can't defend.

If he's the best down there he wont be long getting to the 1st line then called back up.

I think I like Beau a bit better, perhaps only marginally haha. I do think Beau should be bottom 6, though.

We'll have to agree to disagree there. AHL often the best players aren't the top prospects, but some vets who had a taste of the NHL and are more fully developed physically. McGroarty playing below a 26 year old on a hot streak I don't like and hope it's changed soon.

I agree with keeping Beau at 3 LW for now. If he were bumped down, I'd actually like to give Hayes the shot. He's been way over performing fourth line.

Short of playing someone on their off wing though, I don't think they have another LW option on the roster, so all four of the ones they have should play.
