Thats and also it's amazing to me the aversion that some people seem to have to doing their own learning, thinking and writing/speaking.

As someone said, AI could be helpful in carrying out repetitive, maybe even boring tasks while freeing up humans to do creative, intuitive things. Instead, AI is often being asked to creative things with humans stuck with drudgery. Unfortunately, there are some creative sectors (movie making) where the product is so formulaic, you might just as well have machines doing most of the writing.
