Overall he hasn't but as a player on his contract. He has to produce offensively and he's not.

Flyers for some reason are trying to play like an allstar team, too many passes. Just make the simple play and get some shots on net. Stop trying to make that perfect play or forcing plays that arent there.....

Agreed. Coots will never skate fast. And I think when Torts talks about playing fast he sometimes doesn't take in to consideration thinking the game fast. That is something that Couturier does very well. Granted he needs to play better and he may never be that 74 point Selke guy again, but Torts just needs to leave him alone and he will find his game.


Torts needs to leave a lot of these guys alone. Start listening to his own words and let them play 10 games before he starts evaluating.

That’s one thing I don’t like. The lines continually in a blender. It’s madness and no way chemistry can be formed. As well scratching young players. Just let them play and get into a rhythm. It just seems stupid to me. Give the guys say 10 games to see how they can develop as lines

This constant juggling is killing the flow for offense. Seems like no one can handle a Michkov pass without being surprised.

It doesn’t help the Flyers can’t finish chances, but right now the offense looks like San Jose.

Nothing says leadership like saying our centers suck ass. Yeah we know it, but do you want the coach to tell them that?

Completely agree. Flyers are over passing and trying to make the fancy play. The Caps are a tight defensive team and Lindgren is a solid goalie. Need to get more pucks to the net and get some gritty goals

This just in. Tippett phuckin sucks and so does Torts. He's talkin out both sides of his mouth. In the interview behind the bench he says that they need to stay patient and during the period he tried about 4500 different line combinations. Stop effing with the lines you bozo! He wants to get fired!
