Yea it just looks like many guys are not on the same page as Michkov. Maybe that will change the more they play with him or maybe they just dont have the hockey sense to play with Michkov.

And that’s good enough for me this year. He’ll be fun to watch. It will be interesting to see if Edmonton/colorado are desperate enough to trade their 2026 first for upgrades. They are both win now teams and it would unprotect the 2025 pick we have for both of them.

I think Jett could do the job (not this yr) to center Michkov. He's got the speed to carry the puck into the zone, and seems more like a distributor at center, then shooter.

Maybe, but they need a clear cut high ceiling center. Jett might end being a Suzuki type player, which is a 2C.

Not much too move though. Maybe if we are lucky Laughton could fetch a 1st but he still has a year on his contract. Would be hard to move to a contender that is likely cap strapped.

EJ is our only rental and could maybe get a 5th or 6th at best.

Michkov must be an elite talent to basically be a point per game player on this team.
