I just started, but I'm having a lot of fun.

We scored 5 in the 7th last night. Their skip missed an easy shot - steam was coming out of his ears.

We were on cruise control in the 8th - 3 point lead. Our skip's last shot - they were lying 2, so all he had to do was an easy take out. He didn't get it.

All their skip had to do was draw to the 8-foot - it was wide open. He put it through the house. Poor guy was so mad at himself, kept apologizing to his team. It was borderline awkward for a few minutes at the drinks table afterwards.

This sounds like my Friday nights.

I played about 1/4 season last year so I am still pretty new. I am still a lead, and still can't get in the same area code as the broom half the time. My slide out of the hack is a travesty.

The shoes were shocking.

I have wide feet, and I'm a lefty, so I didn't have a lot of choice.

$250 (with them applying some goo to the toe to protect it) was the cheapest I could get.

I made jalapeño ice cream a couple of years ago. I let them soak in the cream too long and it was really strong. You could only eat a few bites at a time.

6- 7 games in, why have a bingo for anything yet?
There's always surprises the first 10 games or so....after about 25 games things will settle in. But honestly, its no surprise the Jets are doing well. They definitely underperformed last playoffs......well their goalie definitely did.

To be fair 8 games is basically a 10th of the season. Making it acceptable to think these teams are going to be tough to play against all year long without injury of course. Don’t need to wait til a third of the season is played for that analysis.

Flames are frauds. I mean back in the mediocrity season days I rememeber for the leafs quite a few hot starts that led to bottom 10 finishes

Caps though, they built a good D and PLD has looked really good. WC team imo.

If the dreaded goaltending issue doesn't raise it's ugly head, then I like what I have seen so far. I'm not ready to plan the parade yet, but I feel like this team is moving in the right direction. Once everyone settles in and the lines gel, I think they'll be alright.
