It’s amazing how this team can look so good and so bad in a 3 day stretch.

This is an example of one thing that's been wrong (and it's always what bugs me about the, "You can't blame the goaltender," line) - that save Binnington made on Nylander just now, and a couple of others would've beaten Woll tonight.

You can't trade chances with a team that can score on your goalie that much easier than you can score on theirs.

I think we're still losing 2-1 if Stolarz is playing, but that _feels_ like a score you can come back from - and you feel like you can open up with him in net.

Not just the goalies though. Team has a huge effort vs Tampa then lays a pair of stinkers. They aren't playing well and we can't keep expecting goalies to cover up all the warts.

No, I get it and agree. However I wouldn’t be surprised if different leafs team showed up because weak goals weren’t let in. I don’t like it but what if they’re a team who currently is relying on solid goaltending to play solid games themselves?

1: Play solid and get a solid team

2: Let a weak goal in and get a weak chase back the tie/lead team
