I still can't figure out how anyone could be comfortable with adams making more long term impact decisions for this franchise

Literally anyone can rebuild a bottom 6. He did it two years late and now adams talking about the unused cap space like its spent already is terrifying

- ieetbred

I am not comfortable! We have been talking the same crap for 5 years. Adams has missed his Bat Signal atleast 5 times in the last 3 years. Took him 5 years to figure out you can't build a team just through the draft.

I have confidence Quinn will be in the press box, pending Benson's availability.

What I heavily dislike about Cozens play is how often his decision making is soft, weak and indecisive.

- kingcong39

Im not confident Benson is the answer to the 2nd line. Unfortunately its a choice between a 19 and a 20 year old to try and fix a 22 and 23 year olds line. Embarassing level of insanity believing these young players will fix the problems year after year

I've seen cozens ice the puck for no reason too many times already this year. Also the play last night where he touched the puck for no reason leading to an intentional offsides, he then made a brutal turnover on the wall when he needed to just get the puck out of the zone at all costs. Im not sure we have many smart players on this team

Good post

Although cozens is snakebitten in regards to scoring goals, his play away from the puck has been mind boggling.

How many icings happened vs Detroit from 1 step before the redline?

He just looks lost on the ice. Super disappointing season so far. Especially after playing so well in the tournament last season for Canada .

if Kulich is going to continue to be a healthy scratch over Aube-Kubel and Lafferty then just send him down to Rochester and bring up Big Murr

Wouldn't hate it. But I need to see Quinn buried somewhere untill he wakes up

I dont think Krebs is very good but why the hell can't we get him a game centering cozens and anyone

Dont like moving Zucker up. Cozens needs some time off from Center.

Lafferty should sit before Quinn. But sitting Quinn makes most Roster sense.

Kulich Krebs Cozens
Melon Laff NAK

Or Sit Lafferty and….

Quinn Kulich Cozen
Melon krebs NAK

I just dont think kulich is the player the 2nd line needs. They need a grinding center.

Man Quinn Middlefat Cozens sounds really nice right now….

Krebs was with Cozens and Quinn most of the night. Would swapping positions change a lot?

It really is disappointing. Detroit game was egregious. Cozens had another icing last night just not reaching the red line. Inexcusable

Quinn or Benson on the 3rd line should work fine. I could see it.

Right now that is a really tough answer

Dahlin repeatedly blowing coverage is not helping his case

Someone posted here last night that the xgf with krebs centering Quinn and cozens was significant less than when NAK was up there

Ok let me rephrase the question……

Who has the highest IQ? Captain, workhorse or Kamala?

On the bottom 6 rebuild: Is the 4th line actually good, or is it just different, and actually worse...?

I continue to think they made that trade because they didn't want to pay Casey, and wanted more time before deciding on who to pay next.

What do you mean with the bold above?
- kingcong39

Holtz never played well under Lindy and fell down the lineup. He's a talented player that was relegated to the 4th line on a mid team. He took a few games to get going, with 0 points in his first 6 games with Vegas, but now has 1g and 3a in his last 4 games on his streak. I'd wager they get 45-50pts out of him this year.

In essence, I would hate watching Quinn regain his mojo elsewhere because he ends up not being to power through with Malenstyn and Lafferty as his soon to be linemates.
