Michkov is arpidly becoming one of Torts' favorites, as I predicted, so he can take Michov to the extreme all he wants.

You predicted the sun would come up.

As long as he keeps scoring, maybe Tortorella will continue to overlook his defensive miscues. Hopefully.

So the teams best player by leaps and bounds is the coaches favorite player. You don’t say.

I thought you said it was a mistake to take him? I remember because you were the only one.

Give the skilled players an Fn chance!
The lines should be:
TK-Couts-MM
Tippett-Cates-Brink
Farabee-Frost-Foerster
Laughton-Poehling-Hathaway

Yes, in a perfect world, the L2 center would have offensive skill, but this is what they got to work with so, oh well.

And just staple Nic D to the press box. He’s useless and doesn’t belong in the NHL at this point. Just waive whichever Russian goalie blows the most and bring up Lyksell to be the 13F

- BiggE

In a perfect world the Flyers would be much deeper in all positions on the ice. I’m happy Couturier had a monster of a game yesterday but this doesn’t change that he’d gone scoreless dating back to last season, prior to being announced captain. I hope Coots builds on yesterday’s game. If he doesn’t, somehow it will be the coach’s fault.

Fact of the matter is, Nick D has only played 3 games this season. He likely wouldn’t be playing if the overall team was playing better.

If he doesn’t turn the ball over….they win an awful lot of those games.

I’d also like to point out that MJL said PRIOR to yesterday’s game that Sean Couturier may not be bringing it offensively but he’s still good defensively. He might only be good at 3rd line center…than got high and mighty after yesterday’s game, throwing it anyone’s face that he could we if he knew Coots could still keep up.

Now if I’m mixing up posters I’ll apologize in advanced but I don’t think anyone saw yesterday coming.

I threw it in one persons face, not anyone's, that Couturier does not have an issue keeping up with the pace of play. An opinion that I posted numerous times BEFORE yesterday's game. This is why I ignore you

Instantly you’re a moron. No surprise.

Couturier's all around game has been solid all season. He has been controlling play and playing strong away from the puck when he has been out there. The issue is when you are signed to that contract, the expectation is to put up points. He did that today. Hopefully it continues. For those that have ignorantly posted that he can't keep up the pace of the play anymore. The evidence says otherwise. His game has never been built on speed. It's been built on his extremely high hockey IQ, his underrated hands and his physical strength on the puck and around the net. He exhibited that today.
