yeah I'm pretty sure he's staying, he's worth more to the habs than the return he would bring if he got traded.
- Pat1993

I hope they keep him for a few more years.

He can be that useful 4th line guy, like the work he is doing with Gallagher and Anderson, and in a pinch, can move up in the lineup and still create some offensive chances.

I was not sure about him when he started, but I like the player he has turned into - very useful bottom 6 guy.

he would probably look more helpful if his cap hit was lower lol
- Pat1993

You can probably say that about most NHL players...

I don't know about "most", it's all relative I guess, but you could argue every pro-sport athlete is making way too (frank)ing much for what they actually contribute to society...

yup, hard worker, shows up every night, very reliable player, seems to have good leadership qualities as well... having a young veteran like that is surely very helpful for the younger guys throughout the rebuild.

Dvorak has been OK.

Most of the season, he played with 2 rookies and helped defensively and on the PK, and is usually 50%-ish in the face off circle.

He has done what he has been asked to do.

Of course, he has not been asked to do much.

Oh?

Some in here say he’s lost his 3rd line C job to Evans.

Now he’s a 4th line C at 5m per.

I would not call that helping by any means..

as Mash already pointed out, he does bring useful elements like for winning faceoffs, and on the penalty kill. he doesn't bring a whole lot offensively but he's still a reliable and responsible player.

He is fine, boring, generally notice only when he (frank)s up... but I liked the move by MSL to put the 2 kids on his line to start the season.

probably not very interesting ones though lol

There's always takers for C, even uninteresting ones, usually it's the B.

And as I pointed out, if he can help a team that’s needs depth, he’s playing on one..

yup, but the habs would need more depth offensively, which is something Dvorak doesn't really bring.

He's been horrible. Doesn't seem to put any effort and his shot looks like Pleky's at the end of his career.

yup, same for Reinbacher... there's never a good timing for an injury but that (frank)ing sucks.
