Good to see Sid ramping back up into form -- and to see the guys stepping up to defend each other recently. St.I the other night, Graves last night, Acciari is always up for it.

I don't want to jinx it, but Graves has looked like an actual NHL Dman the past week.

Haven’t minded graves this year. That being said he’s in a pretty sheltered role. He should continue to fight so he at least adds some entertainment value for me.

After the preseason I thought he should start the season in the minors but he has been pretty ok. Feeling optimistic that he can be a 2LD after all.

It's a strange phenomena how some people only like to post comments here when the Pens are losing and/or they're not looking out for each other....win a couple games in a row and show signs of fight back and looking out for each other and people ghost hahaha

I get not coming here when they're losing because said people are in here making this place fairly miserable with horrible takes when morale about the team is already low hahah

I agree with this. I am happy that Graves has looked better this season. I am hoping Jarry comes back and plays better. I still hope he gets traded, but I hope he plays better.

My concern is 3LD is his limit and that might be the only reason he seems better. 2LD might just be above him unfortunately unless he is on a really good structurally defensive team.

Jarry has been doing well in the A, hopefully he gets some confidence and that’s all he needs… minus the whole lacking a defence thing.

I've been commenting and observing here a long time, now. Its a pattern, no matter days of the week, month or part of season, and I certainly wasn't referring to you. You post when you can no matter what is going on, good or bad haha.

Just wanted to say that, with Bill Meltzer leaving Hockeybuzz, I'll be doing the same. I always came to read his blog, then usually drifted over here since the Pens are my 2nd team (Panthers 3rd).

It was always fun talking with you guys, and I even got to meet a few of you. Hope you all continue to enjoy this site for years to come.

Is there not going to be a Flyers site now or you just decided to move on? Anyways take care, you were always class here IMO even when some didn't give you that courtesy back. Been good chatting hockey with you all these years.

Never say never haha. We didn't always agree but that's totally okay to me, makes life more interesting having different views and opinions to interact with. Then other times we totally agreed. Always welcome to come back if you change your mind, are bored or something crazy goes on in the hockey world and you want to chat, obviously.

Take care Matchett and all the best in life to you and yours.

But without HB you run the risk of seeing DOC playing well and thinking that means he's a good player.

I remember someone saying Malkin should play with Sid for awhile now and the idea met with quite a bit of hostility.

Just feel like every topic has been beaten to death over the past 4 years. It gets pretty tiring relitigating the same stuff. I can basically write a script of what every individual regular poster will write before, during, and after every game with a high degree of confidence.

See you around man. Wish you a happy life but much continued pain within your flyers fandom

hahaha I get all of that and I agree, I could probably do the same. While I'm still here often I'm not near as much as I used to. Wasn't what I was getting at, though. Its just wild to me that it seems like some "fans" just want to see them lose, feel better when they lose or to come pound their chest that they were right when they're losing.

Strange phenomena.

You were definitely one of the, if not first, people to be saying it here...but it was like a long time ago and premature haha.

Rust was skating on Saturday so he probably isnt too too far away. I wouldn't be breaking up that top line when he returns. Eller can have him.

Glass has worked his way up to top 6 for now. Obviously wouldn't be there in that RW slot if Rust was healthy, though. Ironically I've thought his last few games may have been his weakest of the season, to my eyes anyway.

Really? I feel like that idea has been more and more popular in recent years especially last year and this one.

call it the sullivan effect; fans that despise him will find joy in the team losing as it builds hope that his arse gets canned.
