Pretty sure he (or someone else, but he'd be good at it I'm sure) could manage that. It's not THAT time consuming if you're not talking about the day-to-day, announcing results, stuff.

Buffalo's been tanking for like a decade and a half. At some point you have to do more than tank, or you just end up with a bunch of talented kids with no guidance surfing for their big cap crunching paydays.

Eichel and Reinhart won Cups. Buffalo just wasn't smart enough to keep them healthy and happy to have it happen in Buffalo. ROR was another they let go.
