but who cares about all-star teams, seriously..? Damphousse had over 1200pts throughout his career and was a huge part of the cup win in 93, while Weber won the cup a grand total of zero times. - Pat1993
I vote for neither.
But they feel they have a need to add players every year for publicity more than they are necessarily deserving to be in the HoF.

1200 pts over his career when he was, at his peak, around the 20th best scoring player. So, basically, Max Pacioretty without health issues, Patrick Sharp, Kyle Okposo, Daniel Brière level year in year out. Anze Kopitar but without the defensive skills |

yeah, pretty much. if Weber gets in, might as well let in Damphousse and Subban, why not. |

yeah, I disagree with how you're evaluating players and selecting them, but it's fine. |

So you think the 20th best forward of the late 80s and early 90s is better than a top 10 defenseman of the 2010s?
Comparison to their peers is literally the best way to evaluate players... |

meh, I don't care about the 20th best player thing, he still accumulated 1200pts, which has nothing to do with guys like Pacioretty or Sharp. |

Bobby Hull didn't reach 1200, what a scrub. Maurice Richard? Not even 1000 points, more like Maurice Richarded Hard. |
