They will want to if they plan to do anything in the future. They won't be going far with their lack of top end talent IMO.

They have a couple guys that are pretty good but not the top of the league type superstars who get you there. They have some offensive talent, but most of their offensive guys up front are lacking on the defensive end. They have a fair number of has been types that have already seen their best years pass them by and most of those guys also weren't defensive stalwarts in their prime. They don't tend to get better in their own end late in their career, those bad habits just are worse and they can't make up for it offensively.

I think there are some decent young players on their team, but right now mediocre offense that is struggling, some real iffy defense past their top couple young D and lack of defensive game from many forwards, and mediocre goaltending.

Talbot is okay in net when healthy, but he is old, not a star at the NHL level and it falls off pretty hard for them after him in net.

I might join in, but it looks pretty quiet over there. Might be a good place for refugees to gather if this board goes down for the last time though. If there is a problem here, I could see January 1 being a logical time for a permanent shutdown.

Thanks for the info, LA. Didn't realize that Felcman was there, will be interesting to watch. He has had a bit of a slow start in the Swiss league this year.

Would like to see Canadian G Ivankovic get into a game. Might be a good pick for CHI if Ravensbergen is taken before the Toronto pick.

Agree it's dead there. Not sure if that's a go to place. After I posted the 1st time, I got a note saying it would be published after it was approved. That took about an hour. I don't know if that's SOP, but to me, it won't be a good place to have a real time conversation.

Hey, maybe one of the stalwarts here could take on the Hockeybuzz Blackhawks blog and just have a brief "Week Ahead" type post to allow the dialogue to continue and not build so many pages. Even just the upcoming schedule would suffice. I've always skipped most of what Zak and his predecessors wrote and went straight into the Comments to get my fix anyway.

Reddit has been a sh!thole for a while,agree on that!

Hfboards - https://forums.hfboards.com/ - isn't bad,but there are a lot of threads...like too many..individual player threads,icegog threads,blackhawks gameday threads..other sports threads etc...found it a bit frustrating. Donno anything about 2nd city or bleachernation.

I signed up at Second City and made a comment there. Will see how it goes.

Watching RD Carlos Handel on Germany a little bit. 2025 eligible. Seems decent, pretty mobile, good stick at times. Hard to judge when he's playing on an overmatched team. Just took a bad penalty though.

28 games, 2-9-11 at Halifax this year. Wiz has him in Round 3 right now, if he fell a little bit might be a decent pick.

Second City doesn’t normally get a lot of traffic, however the game discussion thread has seen more posts lately, but only so many posters involved. LBR, who used to post here handles some of the postgame and pregame write up’s.

Since the Rangers are a hot mess any player on the Rangers would be interesting to the Hawks not named fox or panarin.
