And he’s skating/moving his feet more instead of those big gliding turns lol. He’s learning shorter shifts with more energy. Imagine when he gets a real goal scorer on his wing.

yep, yep and yep. Main thing is the feet are moving. He's playing hungry.

No! To my eye Bedard has the greatest shot ever and once he figures out how and where to get it off in the NHL the kid will flirt with the league leader in goals every yaer.

But, if he had a Demidov on his line for instance he might put up 100 assists. ... That shot is beyond rare. He'll get it. That shot cannot be denied and once the kid is a grizzled 5 yr vet at 23 we'll all see how rare his shot/scoring IQ is!!.... Kid has decided the last 2 games he's gonna see what this playing 200 ft is all about and the film he'll watch looks good. ... Rome wasn't built in a day.

Opponents have to respect the shot or pass. They were talking to Donato in the intermission and he said Bedsy looked over at him well before the play came together, so he knew there was a good chance he was getting a pass.

Haha just spitballing. Games I can actually watch I’ve been trying to watch his play making. I think it’s as good or close to as good to prime Kane.

It does look like he’s more content making plays for now then trying to force his way into goal scoring areas through multiple guys.

I have the DET feed and they showed the Hawk's bench and seated next to each other were Kaiser and Bedard. Kaiser was throwing his arms around pointing while Bedard listened. ..... Very nice to see.

Crevier smartly defends a 3 on 1 resulting in no shot!!

Hawks outshot 17-2 in the 2nd and 24-7 for the game..... They looked tired as the pace is quick and if you don't have the puck chasing it is tiring. Very lucky to get out only 2-1.

Revenge of ex hawks. Kane, Dcat, Magic Gus, Motte, and former 2nd round pick Justin Holl.

And it’s mostly the vets with the stupid plays. No idea what Hall is thinking tonight. Also Kurashev is just lost out there. Poor guy is almost inconsequential on the ice.

Crevier is fine. I figured out why I don’t like him. He’s just slow to react. His size and reach get him out of a lot of trouble, but his recognition is slow. He can certainly be useful, but I maintain my “not impressed” stance on him. Could be completely off base, but just how I see him.

Am I missing something? What chemistry? They have guys skating into each other, completely missing passes, more giveaways than I can count.

Ok, more chemistry. Bedsy with 9 games with points has to have something. Last season it seemed we were shut out every 4th game.

This might be the last game we see Kurashev as a Hawk......... Terrible turnover on entry ends up in the back of the Hawks net,

They go from active and winning board battles one game to being completely soft the next. Vlasic has looked like crap the last three games. I maintain something is wrong with Richardinson, and they are once again unable to complete a pass.

I’ve seen more Hawks on their ass tonight without being touched than any game I can remember.

How do you fix inept?

Maroon can take a seat for a game. How about the coaching staff sets some examples and makes a could vets sit.

Yeah he’s not even a road cone at this point. They really should have given Reichel another chance to get in a rhythm.

I already like Colton more than Kirby. He’s definitely improved his skating. Cudos on whoever said that a few days ago.

Nice physical presence too. Even though he ends up on his butt a bit too much.

Rinzel with the lone goal in Minnesota's 5-1 loss.

Greene with a goal and 3 assists in BU's 6 -1 win.

I’m thinking that every other team in the league is a better team. I still like the TT, Bertuzzi, and Martinez signings, all the others suck. Maybe Chunk is right about D!ckinson being hurt, he’s been MIA for a few games.

There was the 4th goal too I think that Kurashev gets completely maneuvered around near the dots and then simply stands there watching the play as the Red Wings score.

Ouch.
