Let’s see if the Hawks can build on a good effort, continue to play fast, hard, inspired hockey and use some of that energy to cut down and limit the Wild’s time in their zone and reducing the shots and chances against. I’m also interested to watch the continued chemistry between Nazar and Bedard. |

Wild playing a back to back tonight. Jones, and now Martinez ill and expected to miss the game tonight. Murphy practicing, but not cleared to play yet.
So Brodie, Vlasic, Allan, EDM, Crevier available. Wonder if Kaiser or KK will be recalled. |

Maybe Murphy draws in, there’s an open roster spot. Watched the Gophers/Spartans game last night, how do we get Jimmy Snuggerud from the Blues? The guy is a beast. |

By the way, if KD plans to offer sheet a RFA this offseason, the draft pick(s)that he surrenders will be from the 2026 draft. Bottom line is that the 3rd that he got back in Friday’s trade is non consensual as far as an offer sheet is concerned. |

The cap going up could impact offer sheets this year. Holloway was an opportunity that was passed on, brings much more than Kakko due to his speed, cant believe the Blows got him for a third. Grrr, I can’t seem to let this one go. I’m not a fan of offer sheets, however knowing the position that the Oilers were in, there was a trade to be made there.

Hagel is 3 inches taller and 20 pounds heavier than Nazar. Frankie is best sticking to "hit and run." - rpeters01
I do know he's taller but Nazar is listed at 190lbs. Hagel 180lbs
I'm hoping he's a better pro than Dach, looks like he put the work in to add 15lbs, even though some don't agree he has that dog in him that Hagel has. |

Anaheim will lock up McTavish. If I’m KD I watch Knies to see if the Leaves get into cap trouble. If they struggle signing him and he’s still a free agent on July 1 I’d like to see KD try to acquire him. |

And bury grade A chances or at least hit the net. They finish in the Tampa game they win. |

He is a beast and can skate. Him on wing with Bedard and Nazar. Top line would hopefully be set, if the Hawks wanted Nazar at wing.

The Thrill is back. There is your big money guy. 25/26 expiring contract will be 29.
He is a Russian though lol but that is 40g in the bank every year. Bedard's wing prob 50g. |

Offensively the Hawks’ problem is they really only have one line. Personally I’m not as concerned with them scoring as with them learning and playing strong defensively. Eventually they will hopefully have some scoring depth. It would be great to have a team playing defense first hockey when they’re ready to move up in the standings. |

Fair enough. The quick passes and playing with speed to me means good defense. Usually anyways. Young guys will need to develop chemistry. So our young D know where the first quick pass is in the dZone. Forwards need to get in the right spots to receive the passes too.
That usually means offense going the other way. I liked how they looked the first 2 periods last game quick passes in the dZone and they were off in the other direction.
The getting pinned in their own zone for 2-3 shifts hopefully continues to improve. |

I would let AA go. He's untradable without keeping some of his salary which we can't do. |

I think the cap has less to do with RFA's than the compensation. |

Richardinson shine worn off. Nazar is a nasty little forechecker. So fast. |

Wild play by play guy just noted that out of the 121 NHL players who have taken over 300 draws, Bedard is dead last at 121. |
