The Hawks have played the Lightning tough these two games. Maybe Jon Cooper wants to join the kids, works for me.

I am going to really enjoy this team when all the speed gets here, loved how they competed tonight.

Yeah having Slaggert and Nazar out there helps with the speed tremendously. I thought Slaggert should have stayed here after his play last year.

TBH, #4 had a good game as well, have to give credit when it’s due, but yeah Vlasic broke up a bunch of plays and Crevier had a decent game as well, I like his physicality.

I am going to really enjoy this team when all the speed gets here, loved how they competed tonight.

Soda was dialed in tonite. On your other points, speed will be great and will be interesting to see how much more dangerous Connor is when teams have other players to worry about than just him.

I'm glad Anders has essentially loaded up that first line and added Nazar to what was already clicking with 98 and 59. Nazar may not be the biggest guy but he sure sticks his nose in there and either wins battles or breaks up plays. Going to enjoy watching these young guys grow together.

Soderblom was outstanding, what a turnaround from last season.

I’ve been watching EDM the last couple games, I have no idea where the report that his skating was bad came from? He looks fine to me, he moves reasonably well, he has decent edges and he’s strong on his skates.

I REALLY don’t want to be a party pooper here, but Bedard needs to stop turning the puck over at the blue line. He does it twice a game. Skates from the half wall towards the line tries to make a cross ice pass and it always goes the other way. Friggin infuriating. Outside of that, yeah, great game by most everyone.

This is the poop that pisses me off. Why are we benching youngsters for not "doing something" on ice while the vets just get passes. Foligno dumb 4 min penalty cost the Hawks a goal.

Dach is avg over 3 hits a game. Foligno is the next closest forward at a little over 2.5. No one else is close. Dach is going to sit and watch no one else hit anyone on this team?


Mikheyev makes multiple mistakes every period. What has Maroon done to play 44 games this season? I see him coasting all over the ice ever shift. Not sure the last time I saw him actually get down into a skating stance and pump his legs.
