Tesla is now being vandalized by goons paid by elon to stir poop up. Let's be clear, the majority of Tesla owners prior to Nov 5th were Democrats. It's an EV ffs. Rich Dems drive Teslas, the middle class/working class Dems drive Subarus, and the rest beg on the street corners. A very small minority of Republicans own Tesla vehicles. Elon may be a genius but this boycott he should've seen coming and that's on him. Back to Subaru for all the Dems!

Ok - I'll be mistaken again, but go on the record with my opinion...

Lev is an NHL player ... keep him up.

I doubt the decision will have anything to do with his play. It will come down to whether or not they want to burn a year on his contract and/or how they want to deal with the number of call ups they have.

Schaefer is a better skater, Byram wasn’t know for his defensive game while Schaefer is. And Schaefer plays a more physical game.

One caveat to selecting Schaefer, if one of the prospects in the Hawks’ system is Schaefer’s equal or better and if Misa is close enough to Schaefer as a prospect I think it’s safe for KD to bypass him and choose Misa. However I think Schaefer would be the best defensive prospect should the Hawks be lucky enough to choose him.

As for your last question, not sure I know the answer. I saw the Hawks win with three really good defensemen a good fourth and a solid but not great third pairing guys. I’ve also seen teams do well with three more balanced defense lines.

One of those Cups (2015) they pretty much won with 3 1/2 dmen after Rozy’s ankle went the wrong way and Oduya had that leg injury. Any of the current Hawk blueliners, say other than Brodie would have been better options than what they were left with in the SCF for that 3rd pairing.

They were 2 guys in that team photo for 3rd pairing. Whoever Q threw out there was just awful and I think the 3rd pair was averaging 10 mins a game or less…something crazy.

Rundblad also got some time I believe in that Cup run and TVR came back, probably too early from his leg injury. He would’ve been decent or at least servicable if not for the leg injury.

I recall the blogger at that time ridiculing me or anyone else who dared to think/hope that TVR could or would be an NHL player…which he’s now been for 672 career games.

Funny that. I've been guilty of assuming that a player or two wouldn't amount to anything, but I always at least leave the door open that a different situation could help a guy along.

I was sure that Schmaltz would never be heard from again after he was sent packing for Strome. I thought he was just riding Kane's coattails to some inflated points. He's been the quitest 60 point player in the league for the last 4 years (and that's with missing a bunch of games).

And easily far and away the biggest chickensh!t in the league. He would NEVER fight for the puck. Never won a puck battle while he was a hawk and never even tried. He was near the league lead in takeaways though cuz when the opponent took the puck Schmaltz would follow the guy and lift his stick from behind. He might have some skill but I never respected his game. Whatever, as long as I don't have to watch him game in and game out.

You’re missing the point I was trying to make. With all the tariffs, boycotts and economic uncertainty there is a chance it will affect the cap going forward.

Vandalism and other criminal activity is wrong and shouldn’t be tolerated regardless of who does it. Be it by Democrats, Republicans or anyone else.

Nonsense, I'm removing all doubt, besides i know a few owners and i can say they are not the kind of folks who would do what we see in the fake news world. The worst they do is buy a bumper sticker that says, i bought this Tesla before we knew Elon was crazy.

On another note KK is a plus 9 after 10 games. He had 2 assists last night one on the PK. Made a really nice defensive play last night covering for his defensive partner. He's coming along nicely, and he's doing it against teams that have been giving him -2 -3 games.

Depends on who else is on the team. The Hawks won with Versteeg and Kane on the team. Were either of them all that adept at winning board battles? Kane is an absolute wizard with the puck on his blade, but pin him against the wall and he's neutralized. It's probably why he rarely engaged there.

Don't be dense, no I'm not comparing Schmaltz to Kane, but it's the player type. To say a guy who puts up 60 points per year isn't a guy you CAN win with is shortsighted.

Fraser and Eager were both great along the boards. If the Hawks had 12 of them in the forward ranks, they wouldn't make the playoffs.

Sure, anecdotes are typically the best way to convince others of your argument.

I'm liking KK's game in Rockford (especially since he was sent back down from the Hawks), but please stop using +/- as any kind of supporting argument. It really doesn't add much. It gives no information about what he was doing on the ice when the goal was scored.

Was he just coming over the boards? Empty net? Did he handle his responsibility perfectly, but his teammates poop the bed? Goalie brain fart?

I think a Center has to be a guy who can go to the corner and come out with the puck. No, Bedard isn't that guy yet either. But if he gets as strong as Sid the kid there's a chance.

No reason you wouldn't win with him. Most of the criticism of him when he was here was overblown. He ain't perfect but he isn't a problem.

Bedard will improve over time, but looking back I think Sid was stronger at this age in comparison. Sure, he still got roughed up at times, but he seemed more difficult to contain in the corners even at 19. I don't know if Bedard projects to be quite in that same mold physically. Not saying he won't be good, but just not the same.

Misa would be a nice addition to the Hawks. A fast, skilled two way center or winger. Hopefully the lottery lands at one or two for KD.

Greene is a bit more under the radar. No one from BU is mentioned and I'm sure they have some worthy kids (Eiserman, Hutson, etc). I wouldn't get too worried about it.
