They are singing his praises on TNT and rightly so. When I look at that first goal again may have been more on Kaiser? Both? Lev went to go over to Kaiser’s guy and then Kaiser left a split second later leaving Bastian wide open to bang it home.

As I've said before Blackhawks were fortunate to be right about quite a few defensive prospects before KD took over. Now drafting top 10 and seeing Bedard and Arty playing, been watching KK playing at the Rock and he just looks so much more like a defenseman than last year. Rinzel coming soon and let the forwards start pouring into the org. Oh yea and we have a top 4 pick this year.

Why at this point in time is Maroon on PP2.

I can't wait for this (frank)ing coach to be back where he belongs in the minors

Man. The guys who have been consistent are playing well tonight. Too bad about the high stick, but it was the right call. Damn close.

Nice subtle defensive play by Levshunov, he boxed out a winger as another Devil player was rushing the puck up ice, taking the winger out as a pass option and forcing the puck carrier to dump the puck in.

Carter already saying the Blackhawks have a stud in Arty

He is looking good for a young player, really can see why he was #2.

And why is Foligno on the 1PK chasing way out there.

I can take the no talent, i can't take the terrible coaching.

Maroon has cost them 2 goals. Can make up for it by mugging Dillon anytime

Soft and overthinking. Bedard needs to either shoot or pass. He’s skated/stickhandled himself out of two good chances.

He’s not the only one. That PP where they gave up the shorty they passed up some decent looks and made the extra pass.

Maybe Foligno should talk about the coach playing out the string. Has this coach ever had his players backs regarding the refs?

Not the result they wanted but a pretty close game all things considered. A high stick tip that was just a bit too high, a bad call by the refs, some close chances. This is one that legitimately could have gone either way. Sucks to go down 2-0 early because of some mistakes by the D. Knight had a few cracks in his armor tonight, not awful but could have been better IMO on goal 3.

Levshunov was pretty impressive at times. I thought at times, the Hawks want to be a fast team and move the puck fast, but Bertuzzi man, he takes too long to move the puck at times. I just don't know if he thinks the game fast enough to be a long term fit.

#55 with >24 minutes of TOI, and with two assists, could have easily had three. Good to see a defenseman that gets the puck through. I say keep him up the rest of the season and then down to Rockford for the playoffs. So he loses a year of ELC, does it really make a difference….

I think the way he is playing, he plays the rest of this season in the NHL and he will be on the roster starting next fall. He might play for Rockford in the playoffs, but I think he might have game enough to be a full time NHL player for Chicago going forward.

Arty needs to learn how to be mean. He seemed passive on defense. They need a coach, that much is obvious. I would have been banging a stick on the boards after that penalty to Slaggert. Bedard was getting pummeled while lying on the ice and no call there? These Refs are an embarrassment. They need to learn how to get into a zone and what to do with the puck once they are in there. And Vlassic looked like a statue on the NJ goal where he just let the guy skate across the crease. Wow, are these guys bad!

Nonsense! As long as the perpetrators are doing it with the correct letter next to their name it’s ok. (red font)

I was just thinking about our dmen and was curious so, we had 5 dmen last night play a total of 343 games

Murphy 736 games.

The kids looked good over all. It's great they are all up and playing in the bigs. If we won the draft lottery and end up with Schaefer it will get really interesting.

If i move a dman or 2 i need something of quality returned otherwise i don't think it would be a bad thing to have a roster with Crevier and Kaiser on it. I really like how Crevier is getting more physical and Kaiser is thinking and playing the game faster than he was before.
