Kaiser is better than Allan, EDM and KK. He is the one that was doing it with tougher QoC than any of those 3. He also a far better skater than all 3 of them.

The Swede is a nothing. He probably isn't even coming over. He isn't going to supplant Lev and Rinzel.

Kaiser is a better skater than Allan and EDM, however I lean towards EDM as having the best career with the Blackhawks, I just like what he brings, especially with all the skill from the other guys. That’s just my opinion and hunch. That being said, these guys are all so young, that who knows which one(s)will grow the most, the bottom line is that I’m glad that they’re all Hawks property.

It's pretty impressive how the talented kids eliminate the(more talented Carolina affiliate) AHL wolves from the playoffs.

Glad to see Korchinski having success in these, (whopping 2 games) playoffs. I think there's a little more to Korchinski being in the positive because he's getting better at playing his position.

I see the same with EDM Lou, he's going to be a pain in the ass to play against once, hopefully, he gets consistent

My biggest question with Kaiser is, is it sustainable he can play at the speed and quickness he demonstrates in flashes?

It will be interesting to see what happens with the draft lottery. If the Hawk’s luck out and pick number one do they draft Schaefer? If they do is KD inclined and if so can he put a package together to try to land an NHL ready forward or try to get the second or third pick to try to acquire Misa, Hagens or Martone? Either way I’d guess Toronto’s first plus a prospect or two would be required to make the trade.

I know you're really hoping, but let's see if it actually happens first.

Was he? His first season in the NHL was at age 22. I don't remember him being near the player he ultimately was. Same kind of rookies mistakes that Kaiser makes. Keith played a full 82 that year and ended with 21 pts and -11 (for whatever that is worth). In 98 career games over three years, Kaiser has 18 pts and is -4 (He's even the last two years).

By no means am I making the comparison that Kaiser is the second coming, but Keith wasn't great out the shoot either.

I mean, Keith got off to a very good start his first seaosn.

Keith was the Hawks #1 minute D his first season, He was the #1 PK D and faced the opponents top lines. Was really strong breaking up plays with his stick and also added 9 goals mostly all even strength. I just don't think you can compare a guy who steps into the NHL playing almost 24 minutes a night with a with an 18 minute guy who bounced around the 2nd and 3rd pair most nights.

Yeah, I wasn't trying to poop on Arty. My opinion of the guy (I think) is pretty well known here. I'm all in on him. Just pointed out that he had a play that he would want back with a minute left. He'll learn.

Indeed. Nothing like skating 25-26 minutes a night in a playoff setting to get pushed to your limits to gain invaluable experience. RKF is getting more and more valuable in the developmental process for a whole slew of prospects.

Commesso, like the rest of em, is being pushed to his limits in these playoffs and comes up aces. Hogs win the series v the Wolves 2 games to zip and now move on getting more valuable playoff games...... Commesso goes 2-0, kicks out 66 of 67 shots in the 2 games not allowing a goal the last 104:00!
