Flyers had like 20 breakaways this OT and come up with nothing.

Zegras publically stating not happy playing LW, this is exactly the type of player Briere needs to acquire. Has not played well in a couple of years, making more money then he is producing, and hopefully moving back to center and a change of scenery gets him going.
- Trox88

I would consider this. We need skill at center. He’s young.

This dislike for Frost is real

Edit

Frost should have been put in way sooner than 5th round.

Case in point about Farabee, tww straight break aways and no chance. He has low skill, his value is his tip-ins and rebounds in front

Its not hate or even dislike, he is what he is, and the Flyers need better to move forward. Frost won't get the Flyers much at the deadline but the Flyers need to move on from him.

He plays well, but he is not a top 6 forward, and for $5M per the Flyers need more and they are not going to get it from him.

I thought he was good again. He’s a guy they will probably trade…and regret it the next decade.

I'd drive Frost, Laughton, and Risto cross country myself and hold 3/4 of their salaries.

Zegras has only 3 points so far this season, I think he does need a change of scenery. The question is, would and could Zegras do what it takes to play for Torts? I would take a chance depending on the price. The Flyers have 3 1st round picks, they can give up either the Edmonton or Colorado picks for him plus a prospect. But if Anaheim wants more, I wouldn't do it.

A player that can score a goal occasionally by himself.

I am fine with Farabee in the bottom 6, he's a good 3rd line player, but that is his ceiling. The Flyers just need a true 1C and 2C, players with speed, shooting skill, vision and most of all, players that can win key faceoffs.

I was thinking Farabee and Frost for Zegras.

I'm not really that high on Zegras like others are, he can be a very frustrating player to watch. People know his stick skill highlights, but when that isn't happening not much else is happening. Maybe change of scenery would help, but I don't see him fitting in with this team (even if Torts wasn't the coach).

I could see Zegras fitting with a Toronto team where it's more individualism than team.

Read Heatley was at the ANA- MIN game. Verbeek did not draft Zegras and this is the type of risk Briere needs to take if full tank is not an option. They have the assets and not too many untouchables to get a deal done.

He’s been good as of late for sure. I don’t think he’s got a really high ceiling that you would ever regret trading him. I’d trade him for a strong offer or in a package for something good.

Hockey Night in Canada showed a slow reply of the puck that might have went out of play tonight in Florida. It looks like it may have. It bounced off the top of the glasses.

Goaltender Fabbro from the preds on waivers.

Ya, your proabably right. I think we just have to accept that Farabee is going to be a 15-20 goal player, and having this in the middle 6 is not the worst thing in the world.

Zegras is not a fit for this coach. Would be a bad acquisition.
