I'm still trying to figure out why they dressed 7 Dmen. It literally threw the entire lineup out of whack.

The whole situation seems outside of logic.

Trying to decide which one goes in the trash pile.

Juulsen wound up -3 in 5:28 of even strength ice time. That's hot garbage right there.

I believe Brännström also did (-3).

I'm hope he finds his game.

Demko making progress, Lekker practicing in Boeser's spot and Joshua getting closer.
Hopefully Brock isn't out too long...

Yes, but in 14:52 of even strength time. JT Miller was also -3 in 12:43 at evens.

But hey, Petey got a goal and assist. Tying him with every guy on the 3rd line in team scoring at 7 points. That's gotta be a moral victory for him since he's getting paid more than double the 3 of their salaries combined.

There will always be ups and downs with individual players, game after game Pettersson is improving while Miller is in a funk.

It was strange that Tocchet went 11 and 7 because it did upend the dynamics that were starting to gel.

It's one of the reasons I wasn't too keen on Tocchet long term, he has this habit of being TOO much a systems guy and his systems are easy to beat once you get used to them. It doesn't help that we don't have Demko in and our D is nowhere NEAR as good as last years.

Fabbro claimed. Too bad as he would have been in the top 4 for that lineup.

My Wife and Daughter are heading down to the one in Sooke. I'm heading up to Nanaimo today to say hello to a couple of old friends.

I haven't been paying attention to the Canucks much this season but I guess Sprong wasn't so great defensively. I'm curious what you guys think of his play, was it that bad? He was supposedly working hard on improving his 200ft game but I guess not. He's a good kid and a gifted player, but you have to buy in defensively too.

The proof will be if they replicate or improve on last year... it's not looking good so far. He had this same problem in Arizona where he managed to elevate a much worse roster to the playoffs and everyone thought he could at least get them back and they crashed and burned.

A combination of a few things. Tocchet didn't use him properly with the right line mates and good TOI like he had the past few seasons in Seattle and Detroit. Real good numbers his past few years and this Management team may have been a little impatient. Not a good move.
