random question about the miscellaneous threads, are posters like Wlachek and VellonKolim bot-generated? there's so many weird and oddly specific topics popping up like dog food, dietary supplements, HP devices, and "select an electrical company in Georgia", wtf.

if they're bots I just find it's funny that they're now being programmed to not only post comments but actually create new conversation threads to promote a bunch of poop.

I try not to think about it too much but I do sometimes wonder where we're heading with all this new AI technology... we weren't ready to manage the ton of poop and ugly side effects that came along with the rise of social media, so I'm hoping AI doesn't bring an even worse cluster(frank) lol.

I know you will dismiss it, but the upper class is openly promoting the merging of humans with AI. Its been done in steps, but there has been a quickening in the last few years.

I'm not necessarily dismissing what you're saying about AI, because we've only scratched the surface and the technology will only be getting better, it's just the part of the upper class openly promoting it that I'm not too sure about.

Musk said a few years ago that AI could spell the end of humanity or was its biggest threat. I agree with that statement. The thing is that he has done everything in his power with his companies to make that fusion happen. He is a fraud, but he has his fans.

I think the keyword here is could, although I don't really trust anything that guy says lol. there are risks but there's also potential for huge advancements and positive benefits with AI, what we do with it and how we'll deal with the risks remains to be seen.
