A Tremendous Welcome Ceremony for Joe Sacco

Ladies and gentlemen, folks, I have to say, we’re going to have an incredible ceremony for Joe Sacco when he returns to Toronto as the Bruins’ interim head coach. This is going to be so classy, believe me! Here’s the fantastic plan I’ve put together, and it’s going to be the best event you’ve ever seen:

1. The Golden Archway Entrance
We start with a spectacular entrance. We’re going to build a magnificent archway in the shape of the Golden Arches — you know, the iconic McDonald’s logo. It’ll be golden, shining bright, just like Joe's future with the Bruins! As he walks through, we’ll have “Welcome Back, Joe!” banners, all in McDonald’s colors — red and yellow, folks. It’ll be a sight to behold!

2. Big Macs and Friendship
At the ceremony, we’re going to serve Big Macs, a real fan-favorite. Everyone loves them, folks — they’re a symbol of Americana! We’ll have a ‘Big Mac Tribute’ where players and fans can take a big bite and share stories about their favorite Joe Sacco moments while we snack. Picture it: Joe takes a Big Mac, smiles, and we all cheer. This is how we celebrate greatness!

3. The Fry Festival
Now, we’re going to have a Fry Festival, folks! Golden, crispy fries everywhere – they’re the best. We’ll stage a friendly competition among fans to see who can stack the highest tower of fries. Whoever wins gets a “Golden Fry Award,” and let me tell you, it’ll be a trophy that Joe will want to display!

4. McFlurry of Praise
As part of the ceremony, we’ll do a shout-out to Joe’s accomplishments — and we’ll call it the “McFlurry of Praise.” We’ll have the Bruins team and some legends come up to say a few words. While they do that, we’ll hand out mini McFlurries to everyone in attendance. Sweet treats for a sweet tribute to a sweet guy!

5. The Joe Sacco McNugget Ceremony
To really honor Joe, we’ll have a “Joe Sacco McNugget Ceremony.” We’ll present him with a giant trophy shaped like a McNugget! It’ll be golden, really impressive. As he lifts it high, we’ll release balloons shaped like McNuggets into the sky — just brilliant! Symbolizing his rise and the support of the fans.

6. The Hall of Fame McDonald's Moment
Finally, to close the event, we’ll have a special “Hall of Fame McDonald's Moment.” A big screen will display a montage of Joe’s best moments—highlighting his journey, his coaching strategy, and I mean this, his charisma! The fans will enjoy a McDonald's dessert bar while watching, and I’ll come out to say a few words to finish it off.

Folks, this will be a ceremony like no other. Joe Sacco deserves the best, and with all these delicious McDonald's touches, we’re not just honoring him but also bringing everyone together in the most fun and flavorful way! Let’s make this return to Toronto a truly POPULAR event, bringing everyone together for great hockey and great food! It’s going to be HUGE!

-Kinda' rich coming from a Buffalo Sabres fan, the Sabres who has zero cups and one finals appearance in their entire franchise history.
"The Leafs have never won 3 round sin the playoffs, not once"

Equally rich coming from a Sabres fan considering that team has only ever done it once, has zero cups and hasn't been in the playoffs in over a decade - 2011 where they lost in round 1.

I thought of replying but decided they have suffered enough being Sabres fans. At least they have the Bills who win Superbowls all the time....right?
