But in this case it's not about the GM, it's about the coach's handling of the player. Which makes it so much more of a head-scratcher on an offensive starved team. Torts also has a track record of neutering offensive players who later left his clutches of control to go on and break out offensively with different teams.

but it's also been multiple coaches with Frost all saying the same things.
When Frost becomes the next William Karlsson or Mats Zuccarello then we can talk. that's not much of a track record IMO.
I will say though that Tort's strength (and to some, his weakness) is that he coaches teams and not players.
