My wife and I were leaving McCaulay Point one spring and heard a mayday on the radio, we responded to an elderly man and his two adult sons, their canoe had tipped over by race rock and they were getting taken out by the current.

Long story short we got them on board, I had to drag one of the sons onboard, he was in bad shape. We met the RCMP & Colwood Fire Department at the beach area and off-loaded them.

About two months later they had somehow found our address and sent us a heart-felt card, thanking us.

So yes, I’ve always had a radio, and a radar as well.

Garland right spot right time but Quinn Hughes is amazing, his skating is on another level. MVP!! Tied with Edler for career assists for a Canucks dman, and he's only played five years.
