Both teams don't score that much, both have a negative goal differential, looks like the Isles are starting Sorokin...

Not sure what to expect.

He has a much more likely shot at a Gordie Howe hat trick.

I am very happy he is coming back but let's be realistic in our expectations. He is coming back from a knee injury, after taking 9mths off from Hockey for what we assume to be mental health issues, has not player since December 2023. It will take him a while to get going, it's normal.

I expect him to play 3rd line type minutes for a few games, lots of PP, and then slowly up his minutes as he moves into a top 6 role.

I am not expecting much for the first 2-3 games.

On the cusp. Most people don’t have him
on the team.

meanwhile Roy was sent back to Laval, which is disappointing but not surprising given he's been a non-factor while he was called up...

I was surprised to learn though RHP cleared waivers, I would've thought some team would've picked him up, glad he's still a hab and will continue his conditioning stint coming back from injury in Laval.

Long absence and too small

but I'm glad he still there

yeah, it's more about the 'Muricans being pretty stacked up front, and not so much about how good Caufield is... bringing him in for a 3rd or 4th line role might not be ideal.

Jon Cooper is the coach and they are apparently taking Hagel/Point/Cirelli. Not saying they aren't good choices, but it's pretty on the nose.
