I would just waive Trouba to start. Don’t care about the contract. It’s a sunk cost anyway |

Fair point. Play Mancini.
When’s the last time the Rangers lost 5 straight? |

Mika is completely lost right now. Adam Fox had his worst game of the season, he was brutal. Igor was the only reason the game was 2-1 late. |

If they completely fall out of it by the deadline, the only trade-able players with value are players we would want to keep for the future. The core is stuck here barring something drastic and unforeseen. Sure Kreider and Trouba could potentially go but that’s not really a rebuild. |

Mostly agree with this, especially us being stuck by these realities. But the big elephant in the room as the season goes on, IF we continue to fall, is what to do about shesterkin. Can't lose him for nothing |

100%. Should have mentioned him. You just hope his agent is being transparent about their intentions. A big move like that would require the new team to come to terms on an extension before the deal goes down. That could take weeks so unlikely to be a deadline day deal unless Drury gets desperate and unloads him as a rental. |

Fun question: How many more straight losses would it take for Lavy to get canned?
Disclaimer - I don't think it will matter at all either way. Seems like he's a lame duck coach already just at the start of his second year, cuz his teams always have their best chance of winning year 1. And teams are firing coaches earlier than ever these days since it is the easiest way to have a meaningful shakeup to the team with the cap and meaningful trades being so difficult. |

I’d say if the losing streak hits 7-8 he’s gone. Bring back Gallant. |
