The only thing I hate him for is once the Eichel trade fell apart he panicked and gave Zib that awful contract. That is gonna really hold back this team for the foreseeable future. I wanted no part of Zib long term, always thought he was too streaky to be a true number 1. Seems to be playing out that way so far

I can’t get on Drury for as much as everyone else does.

I don’t think Dolan has any intention of firing him or Drury firing Lavy. This is 100% on the players this year. They truly suck, top to bottom. Besides some of the youth

It’s going to be an eventful off season. Lots of players will be gone and the young fresh blood will be getting jobs

He’s done well drafting, but has gotten roasted on just about every trade he’s made. There’s some REAL bad ones in there and now it appears the way he’s handled things has lost the room.

Yea I don't blame Drury for not getting Eichel. He tried but the Sabres wouldn't trade him to the Rangers. You can go back on this blog from 3 years ago but I always wanted to sell Zib at his highest. Oh well were stuck now lol

I think it would be a mistake to let him go. And a lot of the players have developed pretty good under him.

This off season will be madness if they miss the playoffs. It might be madness even if they make it

I haven’t for one second thought they’d trade Shesty but it could be on the table the way things are going. But Fox is the guy I’d trade, for numerous reasons. We all worry about the bartering Lindgren takes, Fox looks like a regular player now from the ass whoopings he’s starting to take remember no clauses too (until 27-28 I think)

It’s amazing how many guys are under performing at the same time now. Last couple years they had mostly one or two struggle at a time. Even the laf Panarin Trocheck trio has been very blah for a while now

The defense as a whole is by far the weakest link right now tho

I wonder if this a trade for Jiricek, or some other young defenseman. This is the only way it would make sense imo. They really do need a defenseman, and a young one, very very badly
