Well, Jiricek is over. He goes to Minnesota for a defenseman (dont know if he is any good), a conditional 1st plus a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks.

Seems excessive for a player that couldn’t even crack Columbus’s roster. Def glad dubas held back. I think (hope) anything regarding a 1st of one of our top 5ish prospects are off limits.

It's pathetic when owners, coach and GM have a 37 year old player who's a HOF fighting for your team. Crosby is a legend and this is how he gets treated? I so respect crosby for being who he is and what he has to do to get this team some life.. But this is not right and total disrespect for a player of crosby's legend in pittsburgh.

It's interesting that 1/4 of the way through the season we are sitting like 5 points from league worst and 3 points from a playoff spot (albeit more games played than most).

There are no teams that are pulling away in the chase for the first pick.

Everyone will get sick of hearing me say this, but Washington had a worse roster than us when Dubas started and they are #3 in the league right now.

Imagine if we went for Chuchryn who was shockingly cheap instead of signing Gryz? And if we traded Jarry for PLD instead of trading for Hayes? I don't think it's a stretch at all to think our fortunes would be reversed and this would be a very good Pens team.
