I personally don't think that winning the Cup is the benchmark and I have been consistent on that. I'd say it's been about 12 years since the Flyers have been a true contender.

The 2010 run was a good team but as much of a surprise as it was a contender team. Lots of unknowns going into the season I would say it’s been 20 years since we were a true contender teams feared

Do you think in division prevented the flyers at all? Not going to say that’s a bad return but it’s more quantity than quality. Something we could have done for sure with the Edmonton/Col pick

Briere really gonna have 3 1st rdrs all after pick 15 and these will be essential to the rebuild. Luckily, the culture is top notch so all these prospects will have their ability maximized.

David Jiricek is interesting, but if there’s one thing the Flyers don’t have a shortage of, it’s defensemen (both in the pros and in junior)

The Wild gave up quite a bit of draft capital in this deal. Fair to wonder if the cost would’ve been even high in an in-division trade.

If Jiricek pans out, The Wild are suffering an embarrassment of riches on the back end moving forward.

Well all 3 goalies are playing at an NHL average for goalies. Small sample size for the Euro goalies, but both are on the upswing.

Rumor is one team offered two 1sts. There were 6 or 7 teams in on him.
Wild weren’t getting anything close to Jiricek picking in the 20s. Buium is the only pipeline D man with high end potential.Hunt has looked good when up with the Wild.

Pretty sure that is all he CAN do.
