I don't disagree.

What’s this draft year look like after #3?
Strong or weak draft class?

We literally had the puck once the entire OT and we scored. How did Pasternak not get a delay of game penalty for holding the puck?

That was looking like a Boston win all the way. Bo needed a game like that.

No idea how the Cap works with that trade. Van should have to take Mayfield and Pierre.

I think it's not considered real strong. Next year is supposed to be much better

I think Rosner suggested 2025 1st rd pick, Cizikas, Dobson and Engvall.
I'm normally pretty patient with dmen but Dobson's constant brain farts are wearing on me. Especially with George being a pleasant surprise.
I know Petterson is massively talented but I have heard some Nucks fans say he's kinda soft. That certainty worries me, but he would be an incredible boost for our offense.

I heard the soft label as well and that is a concern. I do not know what this means for Nelson and Palms if this trade happens. I'm more of a fan of doing some sort of re-tool instead of a big move.

USA vs Finland is a tight one. 3-3 in the 3rd. Lets go USA!

Edit: USA! USA! USA!

Unreal sauce pass!!! Great game, but i think 3 on 3 OT is weak. Let them play 5 on 5 until it’s over.

Agreed. Not a fan of 3 on 3 especially with big games like these. Excellent game none the less.

I like 3v3 for NHL regular season games that need to come to a conclusion quickly without dragging on, but not a fan of having it decide who wins a major trophy like the World Juniors. But that was a great game regardless, unreal pass from Buium. That kids going to be a hell of a player.

Game was incredible. I get it(but don’t like it) during the regular season. Never saw the problem with ties. Guess I’m just an old grumpy boomer.

I wouldn't really have a problem with ties either, but the NHL seems pretty dead-set against going back to that. As do most professional sports.

In lieu of that, I think the 3v3 is a ton of fun as long as it goes away once the playoffs start. What I'd love to see is the OT extended and the shootouts abolished. A 10 minute 3v3 OT would probably yield a winner an overwhelming-percentage of the time. And an added bonus would be that you never have to watch a terrible shootout ever again.

That deal is a bit more palatable. I see the side that Peterson is super talented, young, etc but I still believe this team should not unload any first rd picks, prospects, young players. That’s also a very big commitment to a player that’s being traded due to not getting along with some other players. There’s some risk involved with trading for this kid. We aren’t in a position to be taking any long term risks imo.

I say this while believing this isn’t happening for multiple reasons least of all we would need to unload some salary to fit him in.

Totally agree. It’s a gimmick. You played 60 minutes of hockey and your deciding the game ( in this case the championship ) with 3 v 3 pond hockey. Only sport where the game plan changes to seek a winner. I get trying to get some new fans with the offensive skill show but I dont like it, especially in a tournament. I NEVER want to see it in the POs. That would absolutely suck. I don’t understand the issue American fans have with ties.
