Terrible OT from Horvat who has been dogsh1t ever since Barzy went out.
Gotta feel for Sorokin. The guy is playing out of his mind all season and just gets no support |

Turned a 2 on 1 into a 1 on 1 and that's a no no |

Dobson was out to lunch on that OTG. One pass and he’s out of the play.
Horvat watching his man in front. Rebound hits his pad and the Hab bats it in off that.
How’s that his fault?
Also earlier play Dobson takes a shot in OT which gives the Habs a 2 on 1. Just terrible ice awareness by him this year. Need him to snap out of it. |

Cause he turned it over in the o zone on a toe drag |

TO obviously was bad but they were in good shape getting back and Dobson just let his man go.
They should probably practice OT 3v3 because it seems like they are in them every game. 😂
PS. I think Horvats “timing” is off. |

If you discount Sorokin's first game of the season, the Isles are scoring 2.26 gpg with him in net. The league's lowest scoring team, Nashville, is averaging 2.32gpg |

Sorokin has been giving them a fighting chance.

Marcus Gidlof playing for Sweden at the WJC. I don't know if the order of goaltender names on this list means he's the starter or not, but he's quietly become one of the Islanders top prospects. I hope he's the starter because it will be very fun to watch him this year. |

Islanders should be looking to move Varly. Hopefully Gidlof can be a good backup to Sorokin in the near future. |

I would expect it to be a few years before he could even come over to North America. But the fact that, at 19, he's playing in the SHL and posting very strong numbers is nothing but good news. The Russian goalie they drafted seems to be doing pretty well also. |
