I always wonder about some guys... they won it all (and some, multiple times), as their career winds down, do they really want to go chasing another one after playing a whole career with one team.
I get a guy like Bourque going to Colorado. That makes sense.

I guess it depends on a multitude of things, such as what their family situation is, what the opportunities actually are in terms of contending teams looking for their services, how badly they want another cup... even if they don't win another one, as you're implying those core guys in PIT will have had great careers.
wow, I just realized that this song is actually titled "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", I always thought it was "in the garden of Eden" because of that simpsons episode

I guess the answer varies a lot from one guy to another ?
but Testosterone man, I mean we get heated playing in local leagues, really wanting to win and all, imagine at the NHL level ? I can see it easy to get motivated !

Like I said, I get it for guys that never won.
And maybe even for guys that won once, especially if they were young or were not a main part of the team back then.
Yeah, players play to win.
Sure.
But at some point, your chances to win a cup depend on so many factors, being traded to a good team does not mean you are gonna win one.
