I don't think you're allowed to do that. You can though trade for a conditional draft pick using a condition that is in theory possible but in practice never going to happen, e.g. trade a guy to CBJ with a return of a 7th-round pick if they win the Cup this year.

Everyone understands the situation. Still kind of funny seeing how they were dead last two weeks ago...plus its only the first week of December with 5 months of regular season left. Kind of expect them to plummet again but who really knows for sure what will happen. Sid and Co are definitely excited and feeling good about themselves. So, I'm happy for them. Let's see if they can keep it up. Probably won't haha.
