Yep, I have been trying to move Jones for a long time. But with his NMC he (like Kane a couple of years ago) will determine where he wants to go. He says he didn't sign in Chicago to undergo a rebuild, so he should want to go somewhere else, yet he hasn't gone public with his trade demands.

I see Jones as a complacent, laid back guy and the "didn't sign in Chicago to undergo a rebuild" comment is just smoke. There's no pressure on him here so I think he's happy to collect that fat pay check. I don't think he would enjoy the bright lights and press scrutiny in New York.

If it's not a trade for Trouba, believe he may be on waivers later today -- possibility that a team will have a claim ready to go as with Goodrow back in June.
